Won't hesitate to recommend - Alan will take you through every stage of the process, explain what's needed, draw diagrams if he needs to, and once into the process will communicate with you if anything comes up. Before anything is undertaken AJM's office will provide you a schedule of works, so there shouldn't be any surprises - unless anything is uncovered, then work will stop before any decisions are taken. He's just an all round star, really - even patched up a couple of things he noticed while doing the work. While the work is going on, he'll take photos of any findings and the work in general to show you what's happening. And if you're a layman, like myself, he'll happily explain in detail what's being done so you can get a better understanding of the work itself. There's a reason he's known by other tradespeople and by locals in the area. We'll definitely be using AJM in future. Many thanks."

"Wouldn't use as a handyman or for repairs. Charges £90 an hour (so £90 just to collect materials); even the smallest repair jobs are extortionate. Doesn't support the customer but sticks to a narrow job manifest. Disappointed customer."
