"Our experience with Jonathan Szwandt and Cardiff & Caerphilly Carpentry was an absolute nightmare. We hired them for a simple project, but it turned into a disaster. The craftsmanship was subpar, with crooked fittings, uneven finishes that looked like they were done by an amateur. John refused to return to fix his work due to the list of issues being to extensive and clearly beyond his ability. When we finally had enough and took them to court, so far he has failed to honour the court's decision to reimburse us for the damages they caused. They still owe us money, and it's been a nightmare trying to recover it. Overall, I would strongly advise against hiring John for any project."
