"Really horrible experience. Liam seemed genuine at first, and the price quoted was reasonable. Work got underway and at first I was happy with progress too, but things soured very quickly. There was a lot of damage to the house that wasn't even mentioned to me until I saw it for myself. I guess the guy who did it (all with the mini digger) said nothing to the guys running the business either, but when I pointed it out, they had no interest in resolving anything whatsoever. An additional £2000 was charged on job completion. No mention of this until that point. "Sorry, I forgot" being the only response. Cost was for: One step and digging up roots. They then wouldn't leave until I paid on the moment of completion, while not being able to see the work first (it was late in the day, and couldn't walk on the drive of course). The pressure to do this was very unpleasant. There's a river of concrete etched across the road from the house, drainage pipes torn off, corners knocked off the wall, and now just a few months on, it's started breaking up. No care from Liam, he's got his money, and on to the next mug."

"Liam and his team have done a fantastic job of installing a new Resin driveway and new turf at my Mum’s home. We were originally planning a time frame later in June, but we were very lucky as the team at Designer Drives & Patios had availability last week to install the new driveway, in less than a week after we agreed their original quote. Not complaining, take advantage of the good Weather we hardly get these days and enjoy our new driveway sooner. This is a good reliable team and I will definitely use them again in the future, as I work in the property development myself and I have other homes that need new driveways too. Many neighbours and people passing by have notice my Mum’s new driveway literally within hours after it was fully finished, asking it looks great and who did it. I will have no hesitation in providing Designer Drives & Patios contact details for assistance. Please use them and you will not be disappointed. My Mum is pleased too, and she’s not an easy lady to keep happy from experience! Thank you guys for keeping my Mum off my back for a few days! "I recently had my driveway/garden completed, I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. The team took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. They kept disruption to a minimum and made sure everything was cleaned up properly at the end of each day. "Designer laid our new drive and turf w/c 25 August and left 27 August having not finished the work. As shown by the photos, they have not sorted out render, installed a drain guard or taken away their rubbish. Despite repeated requests being made to Designer, they have not turned up to finish the work. I have been fair in giving them over 6 weeks to come back and finish the work, so I have now been left with no option but to leave this review. We paid for the work on 27 August, immediately after being requested to do so on the understanding they needed to “pay for the materials” and would finish the work shortly after. This was clearly a lie and we are now out of pocked for work that has not been carried out. Very disappointing, and it is a shame to be giving a 3-star review. The work they have carried out has been fantastic, but all of that has been undone by their inability to complete the work, despite us having paid for it."
