"Had a Leka roof installed several years ago. Our experience with the installer was dreadful. It took months to complete with several difficult to arrange call backs. Leka themselves weren’t interested and kept on referring me to the original installer. Another leak has recently developed so I messaged Leka to ask if they could advise me of an installer, other than the original one, who would be prepared to look at the problem with a view to fixing it. They replied again saying to contact the original installer. I really don’t want to use them again. I tried to email their service group, using the address on their web site, only to have a non acceptance message fed back. Come on Leka, please accept some essence of responsibility with regards to installers recommended by you who do not perform as you promised. The roof itself would be fine when installed properly but if it isn’t, don’t look to Leka for help. Further to Leka’s response No surprise to see it’s quite defensive. I agree they responded to written requests promptly, but no mention was made of numerous non returned phone calls. If my email to them had been read, rather than denied access, they would have seen that I simply wanted a list of their recommended contractors that I could employ to fix the problem. Hardly an unfair situation if they were getting paid for the work. They just don’t seem to want to help with any issues outside of new business. I most certainly will not be deleting this review."

"We had a large (7.5m x 3.5m) glass roofed conservatory added to our house 8 years ago and it soon became the most used room in the house … some drawbacks though - as the years progressed we became plagued by annoying leaks, mainly from the roof glazing bars; the flat shelf above the lighting pelmet constantly attracted dead flies, spiders, dust, condensation and mould; the gutter supports kept breaking and we had to use duct tape to add support. At the end of 2024 we decided to bite the bullet and look to replace with a lightweight solid roof. Some friends of ours had chosen the Leka System and were very pleased with their installation. However, we did our own research and then invited 3 companies to come and talk to us. Price-wise they all came within budget but the one company that stood out was Walkers Windows (Ossett/Huddersfield) who offered the Leka System - their salesman came well prepared with a portable cross-section showing how the roof would be composed; he took pictures of the existing conservatory and sent them through to staff at their head office for their comments and by the time he left ourselves we felt confident that they fully understood our requirements and could offer the solution we required. We placed the order with them late October and shortly after they confirmed installation would commence 2nd December. Their two fitters, Danny and Jay, did an excellent job! They were friendly and sociable and kept us in the picture every step of the installation - all we had to do was keep them topped up with tea, coffee, biscuits and sandwiches … and they did the rest! It took 6 full working days to complete and when they left ourselves on 9th December they confidently told us we would have no problems with the installation … and that is certainly the case to date. Despite recent storms and snowfall, everything is fine; the internal plaster dried out nicely and we were quickly able to decorate and have new carpet put down. The existing electric radiators we already had can be kept at a lower setting and the room feels constantly warm and useable. We are absolutely over the moon with the end result and are more than happy to endorse the Leka System as a brilliant lightweight solid roof system."

"We have a large conservatory that we wanted to use all year round. The original polycarbonate roof lost all the heat in the colder months even though we had a large radiator and underfloor heating. I did extensive research on what was available to replace the roof and improve the insulation. It soon became obvious from evidence out there that Leka Warm Roof was the best in the game. The U value is one of the lowest, helping keep a consistent temperature throughout the year. They kept away from alumnium and wood combinations which can cause condensation issues which in turn can lead to wood rot, plaster problems and possible nightmare outcomes further down the line. They use GRP for beams which are also insulated internally, the positives go on and on… Also you can see in the pics that aesthetics are great and will not react to the weather. One benefit we hadn’t expected was how quiet the room has become, no outside sounds disturbing you and no loud rattling on the roof when it rains. After registering an interest with Leka we were advised on installers and Kendall from Leka kept in touch to discuss progress etc. We chose Mid Wales Windows and Conservatories as the installer and we were extremely pleased with all the team who worked exceptionally well removing the old roof and installing the new, which also included the internal plastering. The Leka roof is pre-built at the manufacturer and arrives on site in a kit format which is all marked up to speed up the install, this in conjunction with a knowledgable team of fitters speed up the project no end. We are looking forward to many years of enjoying our new room, (it’s not a conservatory any longer) all year round and are more than pleased we chose to have a Leka Warm Roof."

"Had a Leka Roof installed on my conservatory back in March 2024. This was my decision after extensive research into the various options available, and believe me when I say I mean every available option. All the other systems were Mickey Mouse type when compared to the Leka System. Ecoglaze did the install, a local company from Pontyclun, RCT. From the minute I seen the spec for Leka I was hooked. The sales person brought a sample of what to expect, by way of material and to be honest I was even more impressed when I seen the real thing. The installation was superb, really diligent hard working team. The install of the roof was completed within 2 days and was watertight after day 1. The plastering & electrical work was also high quality. In summary, whilst the total spend was close to £10k I firmly believe it was money well spent. There's been a considerable difference in the temperature during the cold weather (much warmer) and likewise the same could be said about the hot dsays (not that we've had many this year) the temperature is considerably cooler. The conservatory is now an extra room that gets regular use ( unlike before). If you are in any doubt abeout the integrity of the Leka System, don't be, because I must be one of the most difficult people to please. I was absolutely delighted. Leka is the business.
